Hi, I’m Caschelle Smith, the heart and hands behind Smokey Lotus Apothecary. This work is rooted in prayerful care, deep respect for the body, and gratitude for the plants God created to support healing.

My journey with oils began nearly sixteen years ago after I broke a bone. When the cast came off, I was desperate to restore movement and find real relief. That’s when I met Dianne, a local practitioner in Northeast Missouri, and everything shifted.

What started as a few quiet treatments in her home opened a doorway to a lifelong calling. Through her hands and her oils, I experienced how powerful simple, sincere care can be. I also watched my grandmother walk comfortably again after consistent treatments, a moment that shaped me more than I realized at the time.

Over the years, I’ve studied aromatics deeply and worked hands-on with bodies in real life, learning what actually helps, what absorbs well, and what people come back for again and again. To me, oils are not just ingredients, they’re part of how we steward the body with wisdom, tenderness, and consistency.

Every formula I create is blended in small batches with intention and reverence. In these immunity, pain, and skincare remedies, I use herbal-infused oils, butters, clays, and my truest love, pure essential oils. The result is concentrated, water-free care that absorbs cleanly, works efficiently, and is trusted by both practitioners and families.

Today, Smokey Lotus supports both retail customers and wholesale partners such as massage therapists, counselors, estheticians, spas, chiropractors, and care-centered spaces that value integrity, quality, and products that truly serve.
